Hi, I’m Jared! I’ve been a part of Electric for nearly four years now. Before joining here, I was into CrossFit for quite some time, trying out various boxes until I found my home here. My first day at Electric was amazing, though the gym looked a bit different back then. It was incredibly welcoming and impressively clean. The equipment still looks brand new even after four years. What keeps me hooked is the friendly atmosphere; everyone here feels like family. Since joining, my physical health has improved significantly. As a dad of identical twin boys, my time is precious, so I hit the gym first thing in the morning to be the best version of myself for them. My goal? To stay strong and be able to outlift my boys when they turn 21.

Meet Lou, (our 2023 CrossFit member of the Year!) originally from Tamworth, now on the Gold Coast for over a year. Previously a chef in Byron, where fitness took a backseat to work. Lou started on our CrossFit program feeling nervous but was welcomed by the community here at Electric. In just 12 months, Lou has made significant fitness progress, feeling stronger and achieving things once thought impossible. Our CrossFit program has brought not just physical gains but also mental happiness. 💪🌟.
